K.A.K.Larsen mini-selfmate

K.A.K.Larsen
Problemnoter 1955

(= 4+2 )

Selfmate in 2

1.Bd1+ Ka3 2.Qc1+ Qxc1; 1…Qc2 2.Qa5 Qxd1.

I would imagine that there are not many six-piece selfmates in two with two variations. The economy and key can be improved slightly.

K.A.K.Larsen (version)

(= 4+2 )

Selfmate in 2

1.e8B+ Kh6 2.Qf8+ Qxf8; 1…Qf7 2.Qh3 Qxe8.

Maybe Larsen had some "aristo" considerations ?! - But of course an underpromotion key as in Michael's version is a plus. For the second Surkov, it would be also "demo" (but in 3 moves = of topic) Avoiding en passant the second wQ in the diagram
