Now that I am aware this very obscure condition exists, it does not alter my view. :)
Far better to have 1 slightly weirder fairy element (triple-move Q-Rook versus double-move Q-Rook) plus a known fairy condition.
I would not resort to a much more obscure fairy element (Haanover versus Haan), to reduce the steps taken by the Q-Rook.
Best practice: one weird fairy element at a time.

Well, then enjoy getting rid of the duals caused by that.

If you only want Haan plus quantum stuff, put a double-move rook or double-move vizir on g7 instead.

I stand corrected. There are indeed duals with a triple-move Q-Rook in Haan. Not sure how I overlooked those duals, looking back, but I missed them.
Yes, you could do this with a double-move Rook (no need for a Q-Rook) in Haan, but it's rather dull starting on g7 (or b2, or g2, or b7).
I concede that your original version appears optimal.

Very interesting idea. That might be the first problem with a functional quantum unit. Well done.

Here's a funny version:

Quantum-Zero a1
Haanover
Schrodinger-auto=1 ?!!

Intent: 1.Za1-a1 (and the whole board, save a1, disappears, maybe, because nobody really knows the path a zero takes to return to its original square).

Of course, we don't really know if a Zero can move to a1 in Haanover, but that doesn't violate the Schrodinger-Stipulation (if anything, it probably enhances the uncertainty).
