Many thanks to John Nunn (and, of course, congratulations on his win) for his nice report about WCSC on the ChessBase site:

I would like to congratulate to John Nunn again!

But, may I propose to obey the rules of reproduction? There is Bazlov's study reproduced without author's name and without source.
Few years ago, about Christmas, I get report that John Nunn reproduced Nenad Petrovic's problem under his name!? Of course, the problem was reproduced without author's name and source, but Joh Nunn was mentioned in the title of column. Am I too rude?

As far as I know, John presents the complete sources together with the solutions, to avoid influencing the solvers:
http://www.chessbase.com/puzzle/christmas2006/chr06-9a.htm (one problem by N. Petrovic included)
This is how he does it on the ChessBase website since 1999. So, I guess the sources from Crete will be published in a week, as announced, together with the solvers' feedback.
By the way, this year John (born 1955) broke one of the records held by the great Pauli Perkonoja (born 1941): becoming a World Champion at 54 (Turku, 1995). The next one will be a tough one, too: European Champion at 64 (Legnica, 2005)!

Thank you Marjan,
I am glad that Petrovic's problem was published with his name in solutions. Readers may easy misunderstand the situation when they see untitled diagram after the title "John Nunn's 2006 Christmas puzzles" :)

Thanks for the photos!
But everything is mystery to composers like me who have not met any of the participants and hence unable to recognise anyone !! If only some captions could be provided - I know it involves a lot of work - I would be very very thankful.

Thanks Marjan and thanks to John!
However, I believe this kind of reproduction isn't perfect or ideal. There are more and more portals, newspapers and bookwriters who use problem diagrams without authors' names and sources even in solutions!
As I wrote before, some editors come to internet to take problems for reproducing in newspapers and other portals... (Let's open new theme in this forum about that!?)
Please let me propose to write information "Authors' names and sources will be mentioned in solutions". I shall write this warning on the header of solving sheets, also in the case of online solving...

P.S. Maybe this example doesn't deserve new theme in this forum: http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc4/hs993.snc4/76693_145127872201892_100001140404743_228904_7174602_n.jpg
