Aesthetics by webvote :-)

A little story from the regular Lüneburg meeting.

(= 4+3 )

(#3, don't remember source, please add.)

Clearly, the Bd6 can stand on e5,d6,c7,b8 without any difference.
I'd rather had had put him on b8, and made a lightning poll which
field would be most aesthetically pleasing. Interestingly, the results
scattered vastly. Of course, this could be blamed on the low n
of the statistic.

Your turn. Simply assign best rank 1,2,3,4 to the four fields
without justifying your choice at the moment (for not influencing
the other participants).

If enough votes come in, we'll see.

Hauke

Could find it in WinChloe only after realizing that the WK should be on f2!

d6 - as is - is my pref.

There is a risk of confirmation bias now that we know the bishop is originally on d6. But I prefer d6 too, followed by c7, b8 and e5.

I surely prefer wKf2, since it seems relevant :-)

Branko, you did not read original post. No explanations to avoid influence on other problemists. Also you should rank squares 1 to 4.

Misha, you are right, I did not read first post carefully. But I still want to share my version of this problem to the readers. This question has typical answer in old Latin sentence: De gustibus non disputandum est.

Very nice version, Branko. Here I certainly prefer Bb8 :)
