I can't help but strongly admire the novel way in which you run this tourney!
It honestly makes me want to compose an orthodox #3, while laughing off all prospects of rejection (and laugh harder, if I'm #22).
And, I sincerely do not want to compose anything, otherwise (least of all, an orthodox directmate -- not for a while, anyway).
note: that's not sarcasm -- I am not kidding around!

I look forward to seeing the award, and wish great success to all involved (including, especially, those who arrive after #21).

EDIT: I do not, however, admire your webpage!

- Who is #1?
- You... are #22.

I went to the website, and without ever clicking any "hit me," I was dealt a download.
That's an offensive misinterpretation of Hoyle's blackjack hand-signals.

I once saw a dealer hit on 17, and the pit boss refused to pay out for the admitted unfairness.
The 3-chute card counter won back much of the loss in the buffet; and, the casino will have lost money, after they pay out for an "under new management" banner.

This is an experimental tourney for brave and serious composers! :)
