Even with fairy pieces, there cannot be a pawn on c1 -- dont they promote on reaching 8th rank?

How did you get $ after z[b1]? My keyboard gives $ after # and ? after =
The main point of my post (no. 25) was about the dubious currency for such tasks :-)
