Knight wheel cross check makes Lovuschka a sad panda

In case you found my MP809 particularly impressive,
here are a few 2# tasks, as always snatched from
the Morse handbook (please look up exact references
there), to make you think otherwise :-) (And keep
Siegfried from redoing old stuff :-)

Feel free to add, but please keep it at
"Knight wheels with something extra".
(Cross check not required.)

Siegfried, you can call me Ingrid now. :-)

Adding a mystery:

(= 12+6 )

Bartolovic 1967

Evidently this must be a record, with that key feQ :-) But what?
I found it under duel R-S, but I can do 10 variants without
such a key, and also without a cook (Ng5:+) :-)

Could someone with a Morse 2nd edition enlighten me? Typo?

Ok, Ingrid, this is a typo since 1...Rxd7+ isn't good for white and the black king is in check. Probably you still should play 1.dxe8Q which is checkmate.

Ok, I started writing when I didn't notice black is in check. I'll get Morse II, then I'll tell you.

@typo: two white knights were missing; diagram in original post has been corrected!
Source of this problem is: V. Bartolovic, Problem 1967
C. J. Morse quotes it as a record WS+BR blend 8+8 (Tasks and Records, No.124)
Cook remains unchanged :(

Still a mystery - I upped that to 10+10 in 10 minutes.
See "Originals" - please keep that on hold until
Siegfried (or someone) comes up with the answer
in Morse 2nd edition.
