ChessBase India Winter Solving Championship with gorgeous prizes!
It's an initiative to promote chess composition and creative-logical thinking through chess in India as well as the rest of the world! This event is open to absolutely everyone! Anyone, regardless of age, nationality, or gender, is welcome to participate!
The announcement is available here: https://chessbase.in/news/ChessBase-India-Winter-Solving-Championship-2023 - The deadline for submission for Tier 1 is 3rd December 2023 Midnight IST, culminating in many monetary prizes up for grabs for the top 3!
The first 6 (of 12) problems are announced in the article and to enter, just email the solutions to chessbaseindiasocial@gmail.com with the subject "Winter Solving" along with your full name! Incomplete solutions may still be given partial credit, so by all means, attempt as many of the problems as you can!

Bodens mate showed up! And even more funny, already in 1976 I did one for my
club zine! (7k/7b/7b/8/1B6/8/8/R3K3 h#2 duplex, but it's cooked by move order swap)

The mate just screams 'one solution with Rd8 and mate from the right, one solution with OOO and mate from the left' to me, but I'm a crap composer, so I won't even try to get that correct....

Hello everyone! Thank you very much for your interest! The article shared is about the process of how one can go by composing their own problems and tries to provide a chronological order as to how the cooks can be eliminated. Nevertheless, the problems shared are indeed very nice. And we are welcome for more original submissions, which have chances to win prizes too :)
