In the initial position white piece A pins black piece X. In the solution A pins another black piece Y after the king moves, thus changing the pin-line. The unpinned black piece X plays in next move.
Example:
ABDURAHMANOVIC,Fadil
1st pr. The Problemist 1990
(= 5+9 )
h#2 2 sol.
8/2n5/p3kp2/1B1bn3/3b3r/8/Q1KB3r/4R3
1.Kf5 Qa5 2.Sg4 Bd3#
1.Kd6 Rd1 2.Bg2 Bb4#
In the first solution, if A is WQ, X is Bd5, then WQ should pin another black piece, and Bd5 should play, but it is not.
In the second solution, if A is WR, X is Se5, WR pins another black piece (Bd4), but X (Se5) should play, not Bd5.
Is this theme definition correct? Or maybe the example is wrong? Are there more examples on this theme? | | (2) Posted by Vilimantas Satkus [Thursday, Feb 25, 2021 12:35] | Pažiūrėk 446190 Yacpdb | | (3) Posted by Viktoras Paliulionis [Thursday, Feb 25, 2021 13:48] | https://www.yacpdb.org/#446190 also does not meet the definition.

In the solution wRf6 (piece A) should pin another black piece, but it is not. | | No more posts |
