Annoy your computer with a future stalemate
Another theme interesting me:
Doesn't have to be strictly logical school, but White
plays a move X which sacrifices material Y. The only reason
is that Y would ruin a self-stalemate setup n moves later.
I wonder if n could be so high that it stumps a computer?
(Stockfish "says" he has a depth of 50 or more - 99 is the
max on Lichess - which works by deepening only the "hot"
variants, so n must be *really* high...)
EDIT: The "inverse" is also possible, White must ruin
Black's stalemate by sacrifices. Henneberger immediately
comes to mind.
