The Kreijcik games versus N.N.


Dear historians on the board (especially Mr. McDowell),

is there any proof about the games of professor Krejcik versus N.N.? To me they look like compositions that are incorrect somehow or would not have a strong enough point. I only saw two, and the first one (wKg1/bKh6 in the end) looks not as if this could ever have been played! Also, the games against Schenkein [1] - at least the second one - look very suspicious.

PS, December 4: Here are the Krejcik vs N.N. games I refered to.

(= 5+6 )

White: Krejcik - Black: N.N.
Played on April 3, 1934 in Vienna (at least my source says so)

The game ended: 1...Bxe5 2.f4 Bxf4 3.Qxf4 Rc3+ (Sd3 still wins!) 4.Kxb4 Sd3+ 5.Kxc3 Sxf4 6.Kb3 a2 7.Kc2 Sd3 8.e5! Sxe5 9.Kc1 and draw. After 1...Ba5! the game could have been over instantenously.

The other one looks even more improbable but I can't find the full ending now (which I saw only a few days ago - someone had a rook somewhere, I think). It ends like this:

Krejcik - N.N.

1.Bxh3 Qxh3+?? 2.Kg1 and white won
