FIDE Album 2004-2006 I don't get around to do that :-(
Who wants to get some money for preparing my (37+1) entries? Please send note!
PS: December 28th: Ok, got around to do this. The offer above is no more valid! Also, I send far less compositions, for quality reasons. |

Is there a list of participating problems somewhere? I sent my problems for 5 groups. I know that there are lists for #2 by Udo and faries by Juraj. But I am wondering if it's possible to check somewhere the other groups. Since Monday is the last day to sent problems it would be nice if list is available over the weekend. |

As far as I know, there are 3 lists maintained by section directors:
Twomovers (A): http://www.schach-udo.de/info.html
Studies (D): http://home.studieaccess.nl/heijd336/home.html
Fairies (G): http://jurajlorinc.tripod.com/chess/alfi0406.htm
May be there are some other lists. Moreover, the published instructions for FIDE Album preparation work include the following paragraph:
"Approximately one month after the closing date for receipt of entries, the Director should send to Hannu Harkola (address below) a list of the composers from whom entries have been received, along with the total of entries in each case, so that this information can be posted on the FIDE-PCCC website to enable composers to check that their entries have arrived. Repeat entries sent as the result of the appearance of this list on the website should be accepted."

I read the FIDE Album 2004-2006 announcement within the March 2007 issue of "The Problemist", wherein it said that one's entry had to be POSTMARKED by 31 December 2007. I sent my entry (to 4 categories) only a few days ago. So I imagine that my air-mail packages won't be received from Australia for at least two weeks(!) - and there may well be quite a few entrants who, like me, 'sailed close to the wind' of the deadline. Hence the one-month delay, and any website lists of entrants will continue to be updated for a while yet...
@Misha: Hearty congratulations on reaching Grandmaster status! (Ditto to Marjan, Yves Cheylan, Slesarenko and the others.) Most deserving of you all!!! |
