There are composers that do the above mentioned snow king when they have finally got a certain letter scheme correct, even if the ONLY interesting part of that noodle salad is THAT nobody got it yet. Half of white line combinations consists of them. Who with only a bit of knowledge on wLK will play a piece into a needed line? If the solution is playing the piece to the only place where it doesn't stand in the way - insult to injury added when half of the possible places are plugged with white pawns - this heavily mars the impression. (Recommended for the young aspiring wLK composer: Study the work of Herbert Ahues. And then study it again. His name is almost synonymous with "plausible tries".) Since there are half a dozen thematic and constructive tricks that help, I won't go into detail.
