Wonderful new version (3,36) of WinChloe!

Yesterday the users of the wonderful French program WinChloe received the new version 3.36. This is a remarkable phenomenon in the fairy world, because this version contains two super-interesting fairy options - a discovery of Christian Poisson.
------------------------------
Here is the explanation of the author, Christian, for the new version 3,36 in Readme(the readme file, named “readme.txt” is in the “C:WinChloe” folder):
Poisson: “New options are programmed, allowing to indicate from which ply, or until which ply, fairy conditions are taken into account. These options, to write in the "twin" field, are: Conditionsfromply=n (or Conditionsapartirde=n) and Conditionsuntilply=n (or Conditionsjusqua=n), n being the number of plies.
For example : Conditionsfromply=5 means that the conditions are taken into account only from the 5th ply (the 3rd white move for a direct, a self (inverse) or a helpself (aide inverse) and the 3rd black move for a help (aide) problem). Conditionsjusqua=6 means that the conditions are taken into account only until the 6th ply (the 3rd black move for a direct, a self (inverse) or a helpself (aide inverse) and the 3rd white move for a help (aide) problem).
It is possible to combine both options (write them on to different lines).
IMPORTANT : THESE OPTIONS WORK WITH "SIMPLE" CONDITIONS (Maximum, Minimum, Circe, Sentinelles...), BUT CAN (MAYBE) GIVE UNEXPECTED RESULTS WITH CONDITIONS ASKING MORE COMPLICATED CALCULATIONS. THEY DON'T WORK WITH CONDITIONS WHOSE EFFECTS ARE NOT CALCULATED AT EACH MOVE (Chinois...).

Modification of the condition "Plus-value" to make it compatible with "Circe martien". New aim programmed: Mat apres perte d'une piece”.

---------------------- ------------
Some notes by Petko A. Petkov: Options Conditionsfromply=n and Conditionsuntilply=n (which were discovered and programmed just for one day from Christian!!) give extraordinary rich possibilities for composing new type of fairy problems – not only with stipulation HS# but also with many other stipulations and conditions.
I would give a name to this kind as "POISSON TYPE". The use of the new options will be successful after a careful study and analysis of the new WinChloe 3,36 version!
But some new examples with other stipulations and conditions I will offer you these days with a new Matplus information.
-------------------------------------------------
And now - something very important for the participants in the 12th Belgrade Problem Chess Festival 2017( T.T – fairies - section C): It is now possible, using WinChloe, version 3,36 to check your HS#2.5 Max with a computer!!

In MatPlus, the first example was published as follows:

№1. Example-scheme for 12 BIT – 2017

(= 2+4 )

HS#2.5 Max
2 Solutions

1...e1B 2.Rf8 Bh4 3.Rf6+ Bxf6#
1...e1R+ 2.Rc1 Rh1 3.Rb1 Rxb1#.

If you want to check this problem with WinChloe, you have to put the position in the program as follows:

№1a. Example-scheme for 12 BIT – 2017
(WinChloe test)

(= 2+4 )

HS#2.5
Conditionsfromply=5
Maximum

Here, WinChloe 3,36 shows the same solutions as in №1: 1...e1B 2.Rf8 Bh4 3.Rf6+ Bxf6#, 1...e1R+ 2.Rc1 Rh1 3.Rb1 Rxb1#. Therefore, this Example - scheme is C+!

All originals for 12 BIT-2017 (section C) must have a stipulation HS#2,5 Max, therefore You can always put below the WinChloe diagram:

HS#2.5
Conditionsfromply=5
Maximum

Dear Petko,
I'm so sorry that you misunderstood the idea of the organizers to make composers solve themselves and to give additional task to the solvers!!
If you saw the announcement, or my comments in "12th Belgrade Festival 26-28.05.2017." like No. 12: "I do hope that nobody would try to create program..." you could have understood the intention!
Is it fair to give a huge advantage only to composers using WinChloe 3.36?

It would have been like the old days before Popeye! I did compose one example without computer help. It was indeed fun.

As for naming the new type of stipulation while Poisson should get due credit for creating a program, an apt name would be "Belgrade type" since it was initiated in this tourney.

I see the situation differently from both Marjan and Petko.

As regards cooking pleasure for solvers - anyone is free to submit cooked problem and give solvers the pleasure. Personally, as a solver, I was always more satisfied with beautiful correct problem than finding any cook.

As regards huge advantage of WinChloe users - anyone is free to extend the necessary condition to Popeye as it is open source, maybe even Torsten, Thomas or Stephen are already working on the similar addition. Actually, as a happy WinChloe user I still prefer Popeye for many purposes, because every program has its own strengths and weaknesses. Yet, the service of Christian is excellent and I think full WinChloe is worth the money.

As regards naming the Christian generalization of Belgrade C tourney idea Poisson type - I think it is very bad practice to name various elements in the chess composition by people, places etc. It requires encyclopedical knowledge by people, thereby detracting from accessibility by wide composing public. I bet very few composers know what Neyman type of helpmate or Keym type of retrograde analysis mean. This point is general, extending to name of themes...

And as regards generalization of Belgrade C tourney idea as a offering extraordinary rich possibilities... - again, it depends on composers who take up the idea and try to exploit it. While able composer can surely use it to the benefit, too many worthless fairy compositions appear now in press and in online sources, just because there are rich possibilities offered by programs... so we can easily accept a new family of chess conditions, but making something beautiful of it will be surely ability with very limited abundance.
