It's My Birthday!+A Thanksgiving Problem

Today I have turned 17, the only difference between this day and many others it seems. It's crazy to think that I've been here since May 3rd of last year, and Chess Stack Exchange far before that! I've composed so much since then when my composing career began, although it really took off in October of last year thanks to SuperProblem.ru.

Happy late Thanksgiving to those who celebrated it! Fun fact, my birthday has and sometimes will fall on Thanksgiving itself some years. For a gift, I made (read: thieved and modified) a problem along the lines of the great Noam Elkies. To my knowledge, this idea has somehow never been done before!

Have fun solving my gift!

Black's in check, queen should probably be on d8?

Intention is, I assume 50. Kxf5 (Kf6?).

The queen is as it should be-the position is correct, Joost.

Congrats! Amazing! Didn't know you had no voting rights yet! Considering all the things you have already achieved, you have a bright future in chess ahead!

Thanks, Guus. I indeed have much to look forward to.

And for Andrew, sorry my mind slipped! Problem updated.

Belated birthday wishes, James!
We've met in one of Andrew's Zoom meetings.
I was amazed by the speed with which you set up positions!
You should participate in the WFCC youth composing tourneys, or rather challenges, as they're called. See the goodies up for grabs in the last one! https://www.wfcc.ch/wp-content/uploads/20190823_144925.jpg
