Illegally Extended The Otto Blathy H# Matrix

ID# P0569739, BTM, h#47 by Otto Blathy, now cooked down to 45 moves, is a well-known problem.

(= 9+10 )

To my knowledge, this is the longest helpmate problem that uses orthodox material, albeit in an illegal position

I came across an attempt at making a legal version of it on yacpdb, ID80161, by
Bán, Jenő that is a h#42, but I quickly cooked it with a solution in h#38-even worse than the Blathy cook.

WTM, #42

(= 10+9 )

My Cook Of It: Kg5 Kg8 2. Kh4 Kh8 3. Kg3 Kg8 4. Kf2 Kh8 5. Ke1 Kg8 6. Kd1 Kh8 7. Kc1 Kg8 8. Kb2 Kh8 9. Kb3 Kg8 10. Ka4 Kh8 11. Kb5 Kg8 12. Ka6 Kh8 13. Kb7 Kg8 14. Kc8 Kh8 15. Kd8 Kg8 16. Ke8 Kh8 17. Kxf8 g3 18. Ke8 Kg8 19. Kd8 Kf8 20. Kc8 Ke8 21. Kb7 Kd8 22. Ka6 Kc8 23. Kb5 Kb8 24. Ka4 Ka7 25. Kb3 Kb6 26. Kb2 Ka5 27. Kc1 Ka4 28. Kd1 Ka3 29. Ke2 Kb2 30. Kf3 Kxc3 31. Kg4 Kd2 32. Kf5 Ke3 33. Kg5 Kf2 34. Kf5 Kxg2 35. Kg5 Kf3 36. Kf5 g2 37. Kg5 g1=Q+ 38. Kf5 Qg4#

But supposing that we were allowed to illegally add as many non-king pieces as we want in an illegal position, for how many moves more could be possibly extend Otto Blathy's helpmate problem by using his matrix?

My suggestion is this diagram. The idea is to extend the king walks for as long as possible.

WTM, h#59

(= 12+12 )

A note.of interest:

Could a longer helpmate, longer than my h#59, that has an illlegal position that use more than orthodox material, possibly be constructed at all that doesn't use Blathy's matrix?

Of course, nothing fairy is allowed for either of my challenges here.

I can do it the other way round: Using lots of material without providing many moves. :-)

(= 42+4 )

h#6
SH, Original

EDIT: I can't seem to find a correct form. This is my final attempt.

Nice problem Siegfred! It's tricky to solve alright! It took me about 10 minutes to solve it. Here's a problem for you in return

Given that Black captures only four pieces I'm total, what is the fastest possible h#? The Black pawn moves like a normal pawn despite being on the first

WTM, h#

Sadly, I found a cook in my problem again now. The issue is that Pe4 can capture on f3 later. The intended solution was with the bishop taking there.

In your problem, any route of the pawn to g3 seems to work while White can do (almost) anything?

Well at least you tried! And I'm not really concerned about duals. My problem is just more of small mental exercise.
