Synchronicity happens

H. Reddmann, Problem-Forum 6/2006 (Nr.M179)
Kc2 Rb8 Pd3 Pe4 - Ka1 Ba2 Pe5 #7

???,???
Kc2 Rb6 Pd2 Pe4 - Ka1 Bg8 Pe5 #8

This one was used at the problem solving contest 2010 of
a local Hamburg chess club. (Weird things happen, eh?)
Of course the admins were amateurs and couldn't give me "sauce".

There are two possibilities:
a) I've been first and by chance somebody else found a
similar position.
b) As usual, someone else was first etc. etc.
I refuse to even think about c) someone lengthened my
problem by one move without telling me. Because
Dark Lord Inglip will smite the infidel!!

Eightmover is cooked (1.Rf6 also works), perhaps the rook was on b7?

It's *very* possible that a "transmission" error crept in
somewhere.
THX, mine was from June, so I'll send a Troll to clobber out
the details out of Mirko :-)

EDIT: Nope. Clobbering yielded the problem HAS 2 solutions,
intentionally. And was probably even built before mine
(but published only after). Stranger things have happended.
