understanding AnnanChess rules


Hi Everyone-
I have popeye 4.45 installed. I'm wondering if it has bugs regarding AnnanChess. #1, WKa8 Ba6 Bkh1 Ph2. This solves by 1.Bb7# alright, but when I put the BKh3 and add a BPh4, it does not solve by 1.Bc8# Does the BK not take on the powers of a BP which can only asvance to h2(blocked)or capture on g3(nothing there)?

This is working correctly with a more recent release (e.g. Popeye 4.68, the one I'm using).
