22nd TT CCM C 11.11.2007

22nd TT CCM is dedicated to problems using locusts (and other locust-like pieces) with locust specific battery of type wLa1-bKd4-wSe5 where any move of the Se5 checks the king. The mate should be given by such battery.

Are only knights allowed as battery firing units? And if no, could they be fairy pieces?

Any firing unit is possible, including fairy pieces.

Among examples, there is #2 by me with locust-king-rook locust battery and s#3 with locust-king-locust battery.

Considering problems I have seen when I was preparing for anouncement, knights and locusts seem to be the most frequent firing pieces.

Thanks, Juraj, my bad, I shouldn't have posted before reviewing the examples!
