Nice #2, Siegfried. I like it!
By the way, where is the award?
|(10) Posted by Marcos Roland [Monday, Aug 8, 2016 12:28]|
The study, I need a board to appreciate it.

Since the tourney's version of the #2 was very flawed and it was most likely not in the award, I published the improvement here.
I have another #2 but that is probably anticipated or awarded from the other tourney, so I keep it as an original for now.
When they will be uploaded, the #2 awards will be here:
The studies award and those of other unofficial tourneys are here:
I fail to find the WCCC Bulletin for now, but this link should be posted in the news thread when it is online.

Award 4° Azemmour (complet)
|(14) Posted by Siegfried Hornecker [Wednesday, Aug 10, 2016 17:51]; edited by Siegfried Hornecker [16-08-11]|
Since it is not in the award, here is my #2 for the other official tourney (masked half-battery).
(= 8+2 )
Mate in 2
[EDIT: Dedicated to Michael Schlosser & Martin Minski]
Probably anticipated, but I had only three hours for composing and no computer access...
EDIT, 11 August 2016: Assuming this is indeed original, as it was not in the award, I feel free to dedicate this twomover for their ASymmetry book which inspired me to the German composers Michael Schlosser and Martin Minski! The stipulation above has been changed accordingly.

Nice. (No offenders found on YAPCDB or Albrecht.)

In the first page of the official site of WCCC2016 I can read "Eleven tourneys have been announced til now!" but, as of today, only ten tourneys appear in the relevant Unofficial Composing Tourneys (UCT) page.
The "Ukraine 2016 N. Veliky-80 Ty" is removed.
Is this removal from UCT final?

Yes, Nikola Veliky didn't come to Belgrade and announced the results will be published during WCCC 2017...
