Quick newsflash from German Solving Championship Bremen

In the first round, twomover expert H.R. (name deleted to
protect the guilty) effortlessly run away from the field
by solving the 20-min 2# section in 10 minutes (and were it
not for the sneaky bastich by Zivko Janevski, ten seconds
would have sufficed - try harder, Marjan :-)

Expectations that those would stay his only points were
too pessimistic, but he won't play any role in the
tournament. Especially considering that tomorrow he'll
have to wake up at six o'clock and it's the self-mate
section - a clear violation of the Geneva convention. :-)

Your rabid reporter will keep you up-to-date.

Son of Newsflash:
The GSCB was won by Arno Zude. (OK, that's as much news as
telling that the Pope is catholic :-)
Details will follow later, possibly here
http://www.werder.de/de/schach/aktuell/news/44321.php,
possibly by the tournament director or possibly
by your rabid reporter

Thanks for keeping the community informed. My performance on the first day was not exciting but today everything worked great for me, especially the moremovers section.
Hope you enjoyed the tournament so that we will see you again some day.
Congratulations to Arno Zude who was in absolute top shape.

I only solved one twomover. Another one and I would have qualified for the Worldchampionship...

@Hauke: My Russian is not great but it seems to me that your solving performance with the twomovers impressed Andrey Selivanov.

Axel just sent around the report. (Send PM to
get *really* loads of detailed data...if needed.)
(EDIT: But only peripherily more detailed that the NL link.)

@Sven: Too bad Zivkos 2# was so tricky, or otherwise I
might have solved in one minute :-)
