Bulletin of Serbian Chess Problemists Society for 2009

The updated electronic version of the recent issue of "BILTEN DPS 2009" (in Serbian language), which records the recent activity of the Serbian Chess Problemists Society, is now available at DL Archive. The most of the contents is dedicated to the composing successes of the members: 126 problems by Serbian composers from recently published awards are quoted there.

Thanks for providing this file! I just took a look at the retro problems in that booklet, and to me it seems, that problem 124 on page 27 is cooked:

124 Dragan Stojnić
1.p Olimpijski T. 2010
(= 15+14 )

h#1.5

Intended solution: 1. ... hxg6 e.p.! 2.Rxg4 Rxh3#.

But the ep-key is not justified, since Black's last move might as well have been -1. ... a4xNb3 followed by -2.Nd4-b3 a5-a4 -3.Re6-h6 c6-c5 -4. Ne2-d4 g6-g5 -5.Nf4-e2 Ng5-h3! -6.Nh3-f4! Ne4-g5 -7.Re5-e6 Nf6-e4 -8.Re3-e5 Ng8-f6 -9.Ra3-e3 Nf6-g8 -10.Ra1-a3 Ng8-f6 -11.a3xRb4 Re4-b4 -12.Qa6-a7 Re1-e4 -13.Ka7-a8 e2-e1=R and the rest is easy.

Dear Mario,
Thank you for reporting the cook.
This problem was received by me when the award was almost ready and I must have not given it due consideration.
The unpleasant fact is that the award has become final now. All I can propose is an exchange of pieces: Sh3 <> Qh1. This seems to cure the problem, doesn’t it?
In this connection, does anyone know Stojnic’s email? The problem was received from Mr. Selivanov and I don’t know Dragan’s email.
Yours,
Andrey

Beautiful issue!

NOTE: In diagram #120, the wPd5 should be wPe5.
