A Little Fun
Here’s an extenion of an old idea. I came up with it awhile ago. Enjoy!

Here is the solution: 1. e2. e8=WK! 2. e1=WR! 0-0-0-0-0-0#! (WKe8->e6, WRe1->e7)
P1359646 introduced me to the idea of castling with a newly minted king and rook. The extra conditions, as far as I can tell, are that the new pieces must be opposite the starting sqaures of the rook and king, The new pieces have technically not moved.
I then thought, why not apply Pam-Krabbe castling? With the king promotion, it can be done on the other side of board. Black’s promotion into a White rook was the only way to do it of course. It also further serves to extend the overall joke.

Yes, but there is still the restriction «without queening a pawn.» Otherwise, I don’t think you can prevent 1...e8Q 2...Qe7#.
