This is one forgoten masterpiece by the famous master. It contains five and two transfered mates (5510) and two beautiful thematic tries. Note 1.Qa5:? ~ 2.Qb4# 1... Na3! as a detail from fantastic construction with no white pawns an light and open position.
Someone could say that this, almost ideal ruhlis, matrix is well known today, but I doubt this is the case for 1952!
p.s. If this problem won 4 hm, 1 Pr must be a greatest problem ever!

A genuine masterpiece indeed!

My immediate association was another masterpiece, irronically also honoured with 4th HM. I thought that it would be inappropriate to quote that twomover here - it does deserve its own thread, see "Show Me Your Problem > (#2) Touw Hian Bwee, 4.HM Cacciari MT 1974".
