Announcement Czechoslovakia 100 On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic the
International anonymous composing jubilee tournament Czechoslovakia 100
is announced.
Sections:
a) Mate in 2 moves (judge Vasil Dyachuk - SVK)
b) Helpmate in 2 moves (judge Christer Jonsson - SWE)
c) Symbolic problem without any limitation of stipulation and conditions, which in any way evokes the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic (judge Bedrich Formánek - SVK + 2)
Theme: free
Closing date: 30.6.2018
Limit: max. 2 entries in each section by participant (including joint compositions)
Submissions solely by e-mail to:
a) csr100.a@gmail.com
b) csr100.b@gmail.com
c) csr100.c@gmail.com
Annoncement of results: 28.10.2018 –100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia.
A solving tourney will take place before announcement of results, that would determine the most difficult compositions in sections a) and b).

Czechoslovakia was a sovereign state in Central Europe that existed from October 1918, when it declared its independence from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, until its peaceful dissolution into the Czech Republic and Slovakia on 1 January 1993. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Czechoslovakia)
Czechoslovakia don't exist, but common spirit of chech and slovak people still lives. |
