The Most Economical "Pure" Double Excelsior Combinations In The Helpmate A list I personally compiled some time ago. They are "pure" in that Black starts, both excelsiors are simultaneous, start with double steps, and they are not interrupted. Economy comes in both time and piece count.

"s+R: No Black double step https://pdb.dieschwalbe.de/P0559449"...
what cook do Ra2 AND Ba1 stop? Ra2 OR Ba1 might work.
(My PC is far too slow for testing) |

I'm sorry James, but your example for b+B (https://pdb.dieschwalbe.de/P0504938) shows only a single Excelsior and it is s+B.
For the first double Excelsior b+B in minimum number of moves please see https://pdb.dieschwalbe.de/P1075781 resp. https://pdb.dieschwalbe.de/P1072511 |

Frank, P107578 is not a valid problem-ID in PDB. What's the correct one?
