Moves only playable "once in a lifetime"

Which kind of moves can happen only once per (orthodox) game?

You may answer boring ("White castles") but also
troll to your hearts content ("White plays Nf3 exactly for the second time").

Any pawn move from the second rank, castling, any en passant.
Also giving checkmate or stalemate.
And the first king or rook move, which disallows castling.

In very rare cases, other moves can be played only once.

A lifetime is more than an orthodox game. With that in mind, a once-in-a-lifetime chess move might be something like "getting disqualified for shoving both bishops up Magnus Carlsen's nose". Unless of course you're Magnus Carlsen.

Is "I resign" a move?

@Joost: Think not, but nice try. That said, also @Siegfried,
any move that ends the game (which also includes dead position,
threefold repetition and hitting the 50 move rule).

Any move written in full notation is unique during a chess game ... you may play 17.Bc4 only once ;)

Which moves can be played 6 times, but not more?

Pawn promotions in the corners (i.e. a7-a8, or h7-h8, or a2-a1, or h2-h1 - one of them can be played only six times in a game.)

Off-topic, but the first thing I thought about when I saw the headline: I once played the move Qdxg5#. That’s a different type of «once in a lifetime» move.

Geir, you should be ashamed, I'm just a FM and NEVER needed two queens to win :-)

(After some thinking: OK, OK, now I remember a game'o'mine where even five queens
were on the board for one second...But I didn't actually USE my three, so there.)

Maybe somewhere in my attic in London I still have a game score which made no sense when I came to analyse it. Essentially after one move as White I played -wRa1 -wPa2 +wRa1. What this means is that in stretching for the clock I knocked two pieces onto the floor but only thought to replace one of them. The pawn might still be lying under a desk 50 years later for all I know. Amazingly I developed the rook via the now half-open a-file, without either of us ever wondering about the missing pawn. I was able to launch a speedy kingside attack and win easily.

Once in a lifetime...
