I got an error when trying to run the new Popeye (possibly a security issue?). In the input file I specified the following:
protocol xxx.txt
On running pywin32.exe (under Windows XP) I got the following message:
input-error:cannot open output-file
offending item: xxx.txt
Popeye solved the problem OK, but no output file was created. |

Do you have write access to the directory where this file is to be created? |

(I'm using Windows XP too! Anyway, the problem also happens on Vista.)
I think the output file specified by "protocol" is expected to be there (it's no longer created by Popeye). Fancy has problems as a result as well... |

When I wrote:

I erred on the harsh side - obviously, Popeye users are serious.
Please let's continue the discussion of this issue over on github: https://github.com/thomas-maeder/popeye/issues/198 |
