The "date" field of Olive

@Dmitri: My GIT issues with dates and RTF thereof can be
mostly closed (I now use "source"+"source-id"+"name",
which RTF's fine), but another thing remains: INSELSCHACH
has "month a-month b" as publication date. I enter e.g.
"1983-4/5" and this works fine in RTF (in the GUI metadata
view this comes out as year 1983, month 4 - close enough).
But sometimes the date is even "sillier": 1987-10/1988-1.
This also works, but the 1 is interpreted as day, so there.

Which would be "accepted" format for such dates?

Also, what to do with even additional data, for example:
"Förderungsturnier DSV DDR 1979, III/1980"?

"4/5" or "1987-10/1988-1" are issues of the magazine, "date" is when it was made available to the public.

"Förderungsturnier DSV DDR 1979, III/1980"?

name of the tourney: Förderungsturnier des DSV der DDR 1979
source: Schach
date of publication: March 1980

Just avoid mixing tourneys and sources...
