I do not want long arguments, just answer the question, please. Consider this a quick poll in the street in a city where only problemists live. We can argue later, if the results of the quick poll prove inconclusive. Well, we can argue in any case. But here, you have just a few seconds to express your opinion.
If you read (e.g. in just received The Problemist) about series helpmate in n moves, what is it for you?
- fairy condition?
- stipulation?
- something else?
Edit: Removed parentheses from some answers after Joost's, Harry's and Rajendiran's posts (they have answered with parentheses seen). My intention was to clarify, but perhaps it is not necessary, as this might lead to skewed results. | | (2) Posted by Joost de Heer [Thursday, Feb 7, 2013 11:24] | Stipulation | | (3) Posted by Harry Fougiaxis [Thursday, Feb 7, 2013 12:12] | Stipulation | | (4) Posted by Rajendiran Raju [Thursday, Feb 7, 2013 12:17] | Yes , Stipulation too !! | | (5) Posted by Georgy Evseev [Thursday, Feb 7, 2013 13:09] | Fairy stipulation))) | | (6) Posted by Rajendiran Raju [Thursday, Feb 7, 2013 13:12] | Exactly ---> | | (7) Posted by Nikola Predrag [Thursday, Feb 7, 2013 17:19] | Not fairy. | | (8) Posted by Kenneth Solja [Thursday, Feb 7, 2013 19:41] | It is both fairy condition and stipulation

Not fairy. | | (14) Posted by Vilimantas Satkus [Monday, Feb 11, 2013 20:24] | The seriesmovers are a genre. The problems can be both orthodox, heterodox and fairies. It depends from stipulation and type of pieces. | | (15) Posted by Ivan Skoba [Saturday, Feb 16, 2013 13:21] | Stipulation | | No more posts |
