Problem chess in Spain Dear friends,
does anyone of you know a chess magazine or a newspaper in Spain that publishes originals (Catalonia preferred)?
Thanks for your help! |

As far as I know, there isn't any magazine accepting originals in Catalonia (as for composers, Jordi Breu and I).
We are going to publish "Problemas n. 2" in April, although informal tourneys are not yet organized.
Feel free to contact me for further information. |

BTW, it would be interesting if someone could furnish a list (!?) of "chess magazines or newspapers that publishes originals" Chess Problems - Classical or Artistic Variants - within the Iberian and Ibero-American world, say ... from Basque Country to Tierra del Fuego, passing through Mexico and the Caribbean. Thanks in advance.
PS: "list" - too optimistic, of course ... say ... even a single possible source |

* 'Accept originals' - Perhaps the concept of 'informal tourneys' becomes anachronic, since there's not enough any more a demand for originals by some 'avid audience' (as in the past ...) ... In any case, as for instance with SEPA magazine, articles are accepted and within these articles one can insert originals, without problem .... (oops, pun ...) -
Iberian world ** = THE world - Well, maybe the Treaty of Tordesillas is still valid ... a tempo (and the Treaty of Zaragoza too ...) - -
ps: In any case, the 'electronic' editions are readily available from any mobile in the planet, and machine translation render any text available to anyone, anywhen, anywhere ... |

Firefox reports goja.sk as an attack site and blocks the access. |

My antivirus software also reports goja.sk as infected. Jan is very busy with non-chess matters for some time already and his site is now a bit abandoned. |
