Mat Plus Autumn 2007

My study (Ka8/Kb6) should be win instead of draw. I was told there was made a mistake.

MPID is 538 (this is important for editorial team only, nobody else can access it this way)

Dear retro friends,

one amendment concerning the retro definitions is necessary, as I was told by Bernd Gräfrath (Germany).

Page 56: Hoeg Retractor is - like Proca Retractor - a DEFENSIVE Retractor. If a un-capture is made, then the side of the captured piece decides which type of piece is uncaptured. (One could argue that this is even MORE defensive than the Proca type.)

This totally anticipates it and not only that, it shows the knight wheel by both knights. What a great masterpiece one only can appreciate when he tried himself to compose a knight wheel! Sure, there are "defects" that would make a normal problem unpublishable, but it's a great achievement.

PS: I found it in this very nice article. http://www.jlevitt.dircon.co.uk/task.htm
