I think there should be more discussion before this is deleted.
What does the Codex say about deleting threads?

Actually, I never read the codex. Reading much Douglas Hofstadter
instead, though, and judging from "I'm A Strange Loop" (which I
haven't read yet), any thread having enough self-reference
becomes alive and deleting it constitutes murder.
